Our First Morning In Ireland.

Breakfast at the Killiane Castle Country House & Farm.

Entering the restaurant, we find a wonderful assortment of breakfast choices. Patrycja, who greeted us when we arrived, takes our orders. How can you refuse salmon, poached eggs, Patrycja’s famous potato cakes, and a side of Irish bacon?

And the butter!

Killiane Castle Country House & Farm is not only an exceptional inn; it is also a working farm with 150 head of cattle. They even have a driving range on the property for their guests.

The breakfast eggs are from chickens raised on the property, as is much of the produce. Anything that is not raised on the farm is listed by name, along with a brief description of the local farmer who supplies it.

Occasionally you find a true gem, waiting to be discovered.

If only we knew we would have extended three more nights for the exceptional experience that Paul and Patrycja shared.
