A new world emerges.
Fairstow, our Airbnb is across the main street from Stow On The Wold in a private square. Quiet, secluded yet less than a 10 minute walk into Stow.
Rolling hills stretch across the landscape, families are walking and playing with their sheepdogs in the fields behind Fairstow, .
After the noise and energy of London, the quietness is calming. We simply stand and watch in awe.
After dinner, the pace of the Cotswolds begins to take hold.
We actually made it to the next chapter of our journey.
The villages aren’t simply beautiful.
They feel timeless. Centuries-old stone buildings are still homes, restaurants, shops, and places where everyday life continues.
As the sun begins to fade, the limestone catches the last light of the day and turns even warmer.
Stone. Light. Landscape. History.
Everything a photographer could ask for.
Tomorrow, the camera comes out, and somewhere beyond the next narrow lane, another village is waiting.
