Ghently Southern’s Journey Begins
On September 1, 2026, we set out on a photographic journey through England, Wales, and Ireland—combining scenic drives, historic villages, coastal landscapes, and the simple pleasure of seeing these places through a camera. This blog will follow the journey as it unfolds, one place and one photograph at a time.
The Journey
We’ll begin in England, continue through Wales, and cross to Ireland for the heart of the journey. Along the way, the camera will be as important as the itinerary—capturing old buildings, fishing villages, dramatic coastlines, working landscapes, wildlife, and the small details that make each place memorable.

Our flight departs at 5:10 on September 1st and we will arrive in London at 6:25 September 2 at 6:10 am.
